Day 11 - Graffiti

Tonight was family night - and I went to a restaurant with the kids and when we sat down they gave us a cup of markers so we could draw on the table.  SERIOUSLY!  My kids were in love, before they even had anything to eat.  So naturally I whipped my camera out....

Day 10 - Other lens'

Day 9 - Someone wise once said...

I learned something new!  It's something small, but I finally figured out how to use the manual focus on my camera.  Go ahead and laugh....this is probably something really simple that everyone might already know, but I never let myself explore my camera this way before.  I am loving the effects I am finding with my camera that I thought was very basic....

Day 8 - 2,508 minutes...

Yesterday my family grew by one - my sister had her little boy, and not without some crazyness to go along with it.  Her husband Chad was flying in from China (where they live) this Friday to be here in time for the birth - however the baby was not in the mood to wait. 

This photo is my nephew when he was 2,508 minutes old.  He still doesn't have a name,but who cares when you can hold this cute little wrinkly boy...

Day 5 - A little ink

I have always wanted to photograph my tattoo, and make it really artsy looking.  Well, seeing how it's on my wrist has proven this task to be difficult as I only have 1 hand left for the camera, and don't have many posing options for angles.  Either way I was impressed with the detail I could pick up with the camera...
